We are a dog loving family based in the northern scotland.
Our love of golden retrievers started in 1993 when we were lucky enough to meet Isobel and Davie Sneddon and bought Forthvalley Lucinda (Lucy) from them. Lucy lived to a ripe old age of 14 and we still miss her. When Lucy was 14 months old we bought Oscar a Yellow Lab. Whilst lucy was laid back and calm Oscar lived up to his name and was wild. He could jump six foot walls without effort and raid a bin in two seconds flat. When Lucy took ill with a stroke and died, Oscar went down hill very fast and although we bought Sam to try and help him, he died seven months later. We were devasted that we had lost two Dogs in such a short time
Sam came to us on valentine's day 2007 and is a delightful day. He is very much the life and soul of the family and has boundless energy. Sam was joined on the 24th August 2008 by Moloko Magical Mystery At Crobeag (Whisper). We waited a long year for Whisper to be born and she is adored by everyone especially Becky. She is a bit of a couch potato and gives off dirty looks when she can't be bothered. Whisper is shown by Becky in the breed and Junior Handling rings. They are doing really well and have qualified for the Junior Handling Finals at Crufts 2010 and at SKC 2011. We can't thank Mary Neil (Moloko Golden Retrievers) enough for entrusting this little gem into our care.
The name Crobeag comes from a farm in the south lochs of the Isle Of Lewis. It is owned by the macleod Families and is where we spent our Honeymoon. The family was really pleased that someone who cares about the place was granted the Kennel Name.
We Hope you enjoy our site.
